My first blog post!

Welcome to my very first blog post!

This is primarily a blog that will follow me on the road to the tiny house and the life after moving in.
I want to share experiences around the process, various photos (I’m terribly fond of photos!) and to discuss things that might come up that has to do with tiny houses. At the same time, I will also use the blog to reflect on life and to share other photos I have taken (very fond of taking photos of nature and animals of all sizes). All the pictures on the entire website were taken by me unless it says otherwise.

From being completely blank when it comes to website creation and everything that goes with it, I have now learned enough about domains, web hosting, WordPress, Gutenberg, Elementor, templates, dynamic content, SEO, Mailchimp, webmail and so on to get this blog up on its feet. Currently in a sort of testing state, but all features seem to work and I have a list of things to improve, so please be patient.

I promise you, being a beginner is frustrating!

Since this is my first post, I don’t have many relevant pictures – yet! But I promise you there will be A LOT of pictures in this blog!

And I look forward to getting to know you who read my blog! And I would really appreciate it if you would leave a comment on my posts and please leave your website so I can take a look.

Do you have your own blog? What was it like for you at the very beginning, and how did the blog develop?

Thank you so much for reading ❤️

🌈Irene

  1. Pretty nice post. I just stumbled upon your weblog and wanted to say that I’ve truly enjoyed browsing your blog posts. After all I’ll be subscribing to your rss feed and I hope you write again very soon!

  2. Gutenberg sucks. You know that or you wouldn’t be learning Elementor. You might look at ClassicPress which is WordPress before they forced Gutenberg on us. (I’ve been blogging for over a decade.)

Please make it easier to find out how big your tiny house is. I’ve looked on YouTube, watched an entire video and checked your website. And still don’t know.

    1. Hey Gail and thank you for your comment 😍
My blog is actually one year old this month. Did not know a single ting about blogging, WordPress, Elementor, SEO and you name it! Learned it all from YouTube 🥂😅

When it comes to revealing the size, price and everything nice (oh, that should be a blog post title!) a post will be posted in the near future. As of right now, it’s only my sponsors, builders and me who know.

If you have any suggestions to impovements on my page I would live to hear you out! Thinking about updating the whole thing in August with a ta-daaa on September 1. New pictures, new texts cuz it’s all getting pretty old! Had the same layout since day 1 😅😍❤️
