Time is flying! It used to be four months left until my house was supposed to be done!
What happened!?!?
I feel that the last couple of weeks have just flown by and things are getting closer by the minute. As of today I haven’t even started packing, but I did retrieve my old folded cardboard boxes from my storage, and they are ready to catch every little belonging I have. But that’s it. Mentally I have packed everything, so I hope that when I finally actually do start packing, it will all go smoothly and easlisy (but after having moved over 30 times, I know that one has aloooot more stuff than first assumed, and that it all takes alot more time than expected).
Luckily I have decluttered bigtime earlier, and especially when I moved from Kristiansand (2475 sqft) to Oslo (320 sqsf) in may 2020, and I have since moved twice (in Oslo).

Here I am relaxing on the bridge between my sleeping loft and my fun loft. On my fun loft I hope to have a long desk for my PC screens, pen and paper for drawing and writing, my printers and my YouTube Studio. In addition, I want to have some comfy sitting furniture, a book shelf full of good books, a reading nook, some of my guitars, my piano and things like that. One of the coolest features here is definately the plexi glass floor in the middle given to me by my sponsor Plexon! It makes my loft sooo cool! And you can here see how my flooring is going to be π
Several times a week since the start of the build in January, Ole (boss of Vestfold Minihus, the guys building my house) has sent me fun updates with pictures of what they have done so far and told me if any new packages have arrived.
For you who have followed me on Instagram, have probably seen that already.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart, dear followers and sponsors β€οΈ

This is my entrance. Welcome! Here I will have a big closet with sliding doors and a closet-stairway on the left where the ladder is on the picture, as this is the main way of getting up on my sleeping loft. The stairs will have a built in dog house because we want a cute Staffordshire Bull Terrier girl named Else in the near future β€οΈ
So, listen to all the stress coming up:
Fact is that it is only three weeks left until I have to move out of this appartment in Oslo that I’ve been living in for the last two years. Everything needs to packed, moved out and cleaned out. Luckily my furniture and things can be moved to the destination where my house is going. Aaand, in addition to packing, moving out and cleaning out, my whole house on wheels is going to be moved (for the first time ever) from Vestfold Minihus and over 60 miles (10 mil) north – and all of this before sunday May 1.

Of my cozy heated bathroom floors sponsored by ΓS Varme. The shower is 80cm by 100cm (31x39in) with foldable doors and cool, built-in shelves in the corners for soap and things and is sponsored by Dansani. Next to the shower there will be a Cinderella Premium incinorating toilet sponsored by Cinderella and I am so excited! Have never used an incinorating toilet before! There will be a lot of space on the 170cm (67 in) long countertop sponsored by Fibo with a matte black basin and faucet with a pull-out. The wall plates with cracked cement finish is also sponsored by Fibo! Under the counter I will have my washer dryer combo and some good sized drawers.
I have never been this stressed out in my life, lol. And as I am not usually a stressed out person, this stress that I am feeling is kinda stressing me out.
What I am focusing on to keep me sane, is that in only ONE month, everything is over! I am crossing fingers and toes that everything goes smoothly and as planned. ‘Cause in a month Carine and I are actually going on a vacation to Greece! Only one week after moving in! OMG! Carine ordered a charter trip for us to a sports vacation and I am so excited! I haven’t been abroad in 8 years, so I can’t describe the feeling of excitement! It’s gonna be so magical and wonderful β€οΈ We’re going hiking, SUP-boarding out to some beautiful caves, mountainbiking, weightlifting, yoga, CrossFit and just relaxing with some good food and eachother β€οΈ

The view towards my spacious sleeping loft. This is a big space with lots of features and even a walk-in wardrobe!
I just hope that when the day of vacation is here, that everything house-related thing is done! I am not religious, but if I was, I definately would have put in a little prayer now π₯ (no offence!) I hope that my house is safely placed on it’s little montain shelf (used google translate here, but not sure, lol. You know, in Lion King, they live up on a… (insert correct words.. cliff?) π And I hope that all my furniture and things are safely inside and that I feel that the stress has vanished (and getting the flu or something is a typical side effect of stress disappearing, so I will eat my vitamins like a hero!). I just know that I can’t deal with being this stressed (or some kind of sick) on vacation! π π₯π

View from the entrance towards the living room and kitchen. There will be a sliding door here with frosted glass.
And then, when the vacation is over and we have safely landed on Norwegian ground again, I can, with a new calmness and golden skin, start the fun part: Unpacking and organizing my furniture and things! Yay! Putting kitchen things in the kitchen, bathroom things in the bathroom and so on! Omgosh, I can’t even imagine what that will be like! And, if I get all fired up, I might even buy some paint for the walls and ceiling! The poplar plates and visible beams covering the entire inside of my house needs some kind of care. They easily absorb fingermarks and fat and it won’t come off, so I need to paint it or stain it to protect it and keep it nice and clean.
Picture above:
Of my fantastic Pulse door sponsored by Swedoor. There will be a sliding door to the right, into the bathroom (with a big mirror on each side) and on the left side with frosted glass into the living room and kitchen.
My house will be a seriously smart house with alooot of lights inside and outside sponsored by the great Philips Hue. The lock on my door is of course an L3S from Yale Home (sponsored) and my Home Center (which controls every little smart feature in the whole house) in addition to sensors for movement, smoke, water, window- and door sensors are all sponsored by world leading Fibaro, and they even gave me their brand new HubPowerbank meaning if the power is out, it keeps my smart home alive for another 12 hours, and it even has a SIM card slot so your internet will stay online even in blackouts! Neat! Now burgulars can’t just cut the wire to break in unseen! In that case they’ll have to wait for 12 hours, and I doubt they will.. π
Picture above:
My double balcony door with a nice view!
So configuring all of these smart features to suit my daily routines and all, is a thing I am sooo looking forward to! One dream I have, is to be able to say “LOCKDOWN” and then all my blinds will close, lights will be dimmed, temperature rise a couple of degrees, the projector screen comes down, popcorn mashine turns on and my robot servant will serve me pizza, chocolate and an ice cold Coca Cola. That last part might be a tad much to ask, but.. π₯
Picture above:
View towards my big sized G-shaped kitchen sponsored by IKEA and I even made a reel from IKEAs planning studio, if you want a closer look β€οΈ Visible wheel wells instead of raising the floor to meet the height. If I did raise my floor, I would have lost over 20 cm (8 in) of ceiling height. Furthermore I find visible wheel wells (as well as ceiling beams and other typical tiny house features) to be super charming! To the left I will have my recording studio with my guitars, microphone, mixerboard and I don’t know anybody else who has their own stage at home, lol! ππΈπ΅ Rock on! I imagine dimmed lights and a chill vibe as I strum on my guitar β€οΈ
I imagine using the toilet for the first time, charging my phone for the first time, making the first proper meal! First sleepover!! Og my gosh, the excitement is almost unbearable πππ₯π₯

The last picture taken before Easter! Yay! This week they will start laying the floor, and it’s going to be a beautiful wide-planked and light floor sponsored by Gulvmax π
I wanted visible ceiling beams, visible wheel wells and screws, poplar plates on the walls and no skirting board. I LOVE that the house is raw, if you know what I mean. I want to see the skeleton of my house and know that if I want to hang something on the wall, I know where the beams are. And because everything is in wood, it can be screwed in, painted and sanded. I asked specifically about having 9cm x 9cm (3,5 in by 3,5 in) beams in stead of the standard 9x4cm (3,5 x 1,5 in) to give the house a more masculine look. I love it! π The house has in a way a 100% potential! I imagine putting up hooks for hanging chairs, guitar on the wall, make some cool storage “boxes” in between the beams in some places and much more! And plants!
In addition there will be a net between the two lofts sponsored by Loftnets so one can lie there and look out of the biggest window in the house. Something tells me I am going to sleep alot up there π
Picture above:
Of me in too bright of a sunlight posing with my majestic house π And look at this beautiful siding! It’s sponsored by Bergene Holm and called Tryr RΓΈyk Brun And it looks sooo good!
Would love to hear from you!
Thank you so much for reading β€οΈ
